बदल सकती है IPL 2020 के फाइनल की तारीख

के. श्रीनिवास राव, मुंबई इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (IPL) की गर्वनिंग काउंसिल टूर्नमेंट के फाइनल () की तारीख 8 नवंबर से बढ़ाकर 10 नवंबर करने पर विचार हो सकती है। इसके पीछे सभी हितधारकों- खासतौर पर प्रसारणकर्ता स्टार इंडिया- को दिवाली के सप्ताह (Diwali 2020 date) का अधिक इस्तेमाल करने का मौका मिल सके। इस पर कोई आखिरी फैसला अगले तीन दिनों में होने वाले गर्वनिंग काउंसिल की बैठक में लिया जाएगा। इस साल दिवाली 14 नवंबर को है। दो दिन बढ़ जाने का अर्थ यह है कि भारतीय टीम ऑस्ट्रेलिया दौरे (India tour of Australia 2020) के लिए यूएई से सीधा उड़ान भरेगी और भारत नहीं आएगी। IPL की तारीखें (IPL Schedule) 19 सितंबर से 8 नवंबर के बीच घोषित की गई थीं। बीते एक सप्ताह से इन्हीं तारीखों पर चर्चा हो रही है। हालांकि जब इस सप्ताहंत आईपीएल गर्वनिंग काउंसिल की बैठक (IPL GC meeting on weekend) टेलीकॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए होगी, इसमें फाइनल को दो दिन आगे बढ़ाने पर विचार किया जा सकता है। इससे यह टूर्नमेंट 51 दिन से बढ़कर 53 दिन का हो जाएगा। हमारे सहयोगी अखबार टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया ने बीते सप्ताह ही खबर दी थी कि प्रसारणकर्ता इस शेड्यूल से बहुत ज्यादा खुश नहीं है। और उसने इसे लेकर अपनी आपत्तियां दर्ज करवाई हैं। स्टार का दिवाली के सप्ताह का अधिक से अधिक इस्तेमाल करना चाहता है। इसके बाद आईपीएल गर्वनिंग काउंसिल ने इसे 26 के बजाय 19 सितंबर से करवाने का फैसला किया। इससे लीग 44 के बजाय 51 दिनों की हो गई। अगर इस बार भी तारीख बढ़ाई जाती है तो यह पहला मौका होगा जब लीग का फाइनल रविवार (IPL Final 2020) को नहीं होगा। 10 नवंबर को मंगलवार है। लेकिन मामले को करीब से देख रहे लोगों का कहना है, 'दिवाली का पूरा सप्ताह ही वीकएंड होता है, तो इसमें कोई समस्या नहीं होगी। BCCI के सूत्रों ने पहले कहा था कि फाइनल की तारीख को 8 से 10 नवंबर करना संभव नहीं होगा क्योंकि क्रिकेट ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ किए गए कमिटमेंट के चलते भारतीय टीम को आईपीएल के फौरन बाद ऑस्ट्रेलिया के लिए निकलना है। यानी अब अगर तारीख बढ़ जाती है तो भारतीय टीम यूएई से टूर्नमेंट के बाद सीधा ऑस्ट्रेलिया के लिए निकल जाएगी। हालांकि पहले योजना थी कि वहां जाने से पहले खिलाड़ी भारत लौटेंगे। मामले को करीब से देखने वाले सूत्र का कहना है, 'यहां तक कि वे खिलाड़ी जिनका कोई आईपीएल मैच बाकी नहीं है वे भी यूएई में ही रहेंगे और वहीं कैंप में प्रैक्टिस करेंगे। जैसे ही आईपीएल समाप्त होगा बाकी खिलाड़ी- जो नॉक आउट मैच खेलने में व्यस्त थे- बाकी टीम के साथ जुड़ जाएंगे और पूरी टीम वहां से एक साथ उड़ान भरेगी।' इन सब फैसलों पर अभी हालांकि विचार ही हो रहा है और आखिरी फैसला गर्वनिंग काउंसिल की बैठक में लिया जाएगा।
