‘Governance Virtually Impossible’: No SC Relief for Govt on Reservation in Promotions, Vacancies Cross 1.3 Lakh

The government tried to persuade the SC for permitting ad hoc promotions for the time being, but the CJI said the court is not going to either modify its April 2019 order or issue any clarification till matters relating to reservation in promotion for SC/STs are finally heard.
